:I'm afraid I'm against it. From what I understand, it's still in alpha testing and the page on it on MW.org recommends against using it on a production site at this time. GethN7 (talk) 04:07, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

:::Currently the Flow extension is marked as beta and the developers recommend "to discuss before installing". I'm using Flow regularly at Catalan Wikipedia (where it powers several forum-like pages and a whole namespace) and it is a joy to use. If you are looking for use cases, spiralwiki would happily request it.--QuimGil (talk) 22:03, 24 July 2015 (BST)

How Do I Allow Viewing By Anonymous Users?
I have set up a wiki called squaredanceideas. If I give someone the link squaredanceideas.orain.org they can view the main page. But they can't follow any links, they get a permission error. However, it seems an anonymous user can actually edit the main page. How can I set it up so that anonymous (i.e. non-logged-in people) can view all the pages but edit none of them? -- Proceeding unsigned comment by User:Brainstorm, signed by User:NDKilla
:You can go to Request features and ask for your wiki to have anonymous editing disabled, but made not-private, which I believe it currently is. I believe that anon editing main page is an issue for ALL private wikis (see below), and I recently tested it on another wiki. == Orain? ==

What about a brief note about the name "Orain"?
Does it rhyme with "The rain in Spain mainly falls on the plain"?
Just curious... :-) --Simonpa71 (talk) 16:09, 22 May 2015 (BST)

Wikis Inactivity
Hello, I have noticed, looking at different Orain Wikis that a lot of them are inactive, or have never had an edit since their creation. I think instead of having so many inactive Wikis (and links), Orain should say, if there are no edits since creation for a certain amount of time, the wiki get's deleted, and then of course if the user says that next time he will edit, we can create it again. Maybe it's not such a good idea, but I don't think its good to have so many inactive wikis.
NDKilla What do you think? --Reception123 (talk) 05:19, 28 June 2015 (BST)
:We have Dormant wikis, but I'm not sure if it's up-to-date. Wynter (talk) 06:14, 28 June 2015 (BST)
::Okay. Seems like this policy is not used, as I have seen Wikis inactive for more than a month and nothing happened. --Reception123 (talk) 06:18, 28 June 2015 (BST)
:::I believe the policy says 3 months. And feel free to lock/close wikis if you think the fit in the dormant wiki policy. They can always be re opened. We most likely won't be deleting any. -- Cheers, NDKilla ( Talk • Contribs ) 10:05, 28 June 2015 (BST)
:::Okay. How could I possibly lock/close wikis withought permissions? Do I just put a notice? --Reception123 (talk) 16:41, 28 June 2015 (BST)
::::As far as I am aware, dormant wikis is still the prevailing guideline/policy for locking inactive wikis. Reception, you are free to put a notice if you would like and then maybe leave a list here of the wikis that are inactive and someone will go and close them. Thanks for your help! -- <font color="blue"><b>Joe&nbsp;G.</b></font> (Talk) 18:51, 28 June 2015 (BST)
:::::Okay. I will put a notice on the Wiki's, and then wait a few days and then tell them. --Reception123 (talk) 19:38, 28 June 2015 (BST)
::::::I think that we should close them after 7 days, if there is no activity. I will leave a list here. I do not understand why for some wikis (not private) i cannot see the RecentChanges. Could you please tell me why this is happening?
<br>(reset indent) Reception123 what wiki's cant you view the Recent Changes on? Also wiki-creators can close wiki's by adding the 'closed' tag to the wiki on the database list ("|closed" to the end of the line) when the database list gets read the wiki will be closed
:::::::Okay. I will just leave them for 7 days and then close them. Reception123 (talk) 06:19, 29 June 2015 (BST)

:I believe Arcane had a script that checked for wiki inactivity that he used and posted on SPF's talkpage a while back. Not sure if it still works, but it might be worth checking into versus checking every wiki manually. -- <font color="blue"><b>Joe&nbsp;G.</b></font> (Talk) 01:54, 29 June 2015 (BST)

how can i get allotted wiki's admin?
i want to administer my wiki, but i dont have administrator.

My wiki Nickname is 'ㅇㄹㄹ' and My wiki is 'usergame.orain.org'.
:First of all, login and you should have it. It is technically impossible to make an IP address an administrator. If you log into the account you requested the wiki with and you still don't have it, leave a note on Stewards' noticeboard and someone will give you administrator. -- Cheers, NDKilla ( Talk • Contribs ) 10:53, 13 July 2015 (BST)
