Steward requests/Global permissions: Difference between revisions

*:Wikicreators have the ability to lock wikis and I encourage them to because I'm not doing it and no one else seems interested in actively doing it. The policy is when locking; create MediaWiki:Sitenotice, which SPF is the only wikicreator who is not able to as Revi is a GS. *::Wikicreator: There is no requirement to monitor the activity of wikis, but I've been asked to get through a list of wikis, like you did in 2013. In fact, I've closed a few, leaving the known notices on the Main Page (which sometimes is editprotected). There's no global editinterface (if there's one, that would be also okay for me), so therefore GS seems the only option. GS: see above.
