Flow

I think we should install Flow here.--58.62.115.240 10:23, 3 March 2014 (UTC)

I'm afraid I'm against it. From what I understand, it's still in alpha testing and the page on it on MW.org recommends against using it on a production site at this time. GethN7 (talk) 04:07, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
I'm sure we will enable it eventually, but not right now :) ·addshore· talk to me! 15:16, 2 April 2015 (BST)

namespace - magicwords

Hello, I am using subpages to simulate a multilingual wiki. I would like to provide links from subpages to the main page.

Eg. hello/de and hello/it will have a link to hello.

I seem to get the same result for {{BASEPAGENAME}} and {{PAGENAME}} in my subpages.

This help page about page names says that magic words only work in namespaces that have subpages enabled.

Is bibbia2000 wiki subpage enabled? How can I discover if it is? Any suggestions or workarounds?

thanks, --Simonpa71 (talk) 21:53, 16 September 2014 (BST)

Hi! The list of namespaces that have subpages enabled are set in the $wgNamespacesWithSubpages config variable. Our currently deployed settings can be found on github specifically here. bibbia2000 wiki currently has the defaults for this setting, the default can be seen here, so most namespaces have subpages enabled! I hope this helps @Simonpa71:, sorry for the super late reply here.. ·addshore· talk to me! 14:46, 4 April 2015 (BST)

Forum:Index

Hi all! I just wanted to get some opinions on Forum:Index. Do people find it useful or should we just use this page instead? It seems we have a lot of duplicate places to post / talk about similar stuff... ·addshore· talk to me! 14:42, 4 April 2015 (BST)

How Do I Allow Viewing By Anonymous Users?

I have set up a wiki called squaredanceideas. If I give someone the link squaredanceideas.orain.org they can view the main page. But they can't follow any links, they get a permission error. However, it seems an anonymous user can actually edit the main page. How can I set it up so that anonymous (i.e. non-logged-in people) can view all the pages but edit none of them? -- Proceeding unsigned comment by User:Brainstorm, signed by User:NDKilla

You can go to Request features and ask for your wiki to have anonymous editing disabled, but made not-private, which I believe it currently is. I believe that anon editing main page is an issue for ALL private wikis (see below), and I recently tested it on another wiki. (I believe my IP is still there x.x) NDKilla (talk) 14:41, 19 May 2015 (BST)
