I'm Geth N7, and I host a wiki on Wikia called the "Tropes Mirror Wiki". It is a fork of the wiki TV Tropes that uses content from when they were still licensed under CC BY SA 3.0. I was planning to set up a non Wikia version here on Orain on behalf on several others who have wanted to have such a wiki outside the auspices of either Wikia or TV Tropes (the latter now using an incompatible license), but before I do so, I had a few questions and concerns I needed to have addressed before I make use of this service.

• Does Orain support large uploads, as in images or XML files? I do not intend to import from Wikia, instead using a differently complied XML of refactored content, and I was wondering if Orain would be willing to import large XML files if necessary. This proposed wiki will also require local file uploads, though I plan to make heavy use of InstantCommons when and where possible, and most of the large uploads should be text, not images.

• Would Orain be willing to modify a few pages specific to this specific wiki? Ideally, I'd like the "create account" page to include links to our specific terms of use policies, and was wondering if that could be done.

• Finally, I expect this wiki may be somewhat large, both in size and expected community, and was wondering if that would be a problem? If server costs are an issue, a few of those who support this project have mentioned (I am merely the one who is asking on their behalf at the moment) they would be willing donate to Orain if server performance becomes an issue.

Hi Geth. Here are my answers to your three questions, respectively:

• We can upload large text dumps and images directly to the server. We can enable uploads on your wiki, although we recommend the use of Wikimedia Commons for everything that isn't copyrighted or fair-use.
• Sure.
• We are constantly upgrading our infrastructure as new donations come in and we think we should be able to handle your wiki's traffic without any problems.
