:If I recall correctly, a recent MediaWiki update removed the possibility of turning off the collapsible sidebar in the settings. However, I think a wiki got it working locally using CSS. [[User:Kudu|Kudu]] ([[User talk:Kudu|talk]]) 00:01, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

If I recall correctly, a recent MediaWiki update removed the possibility of turning off the collapsible sidebar in the settings. However, I think a wiki got it working locally using CSS. Kudu (talk) 00:01, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

There is no need whatsoever to run an old version, and it's also unsafe. You need to run the latest version to get the latest security updates. I suggest copying the CSS from one of the other wikis that was able to remove the sidebar collapsing as I mentioned before. Kudu (talk) 21:18, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
