It exists as a source of examples, samples, exhibitions, how-to's, idiomatic usage, and hints/tips for programming in one of the Rexx family languages.
The Rexx family is an open source, community maintained suite of languages for PC/Mac/Linux/Mainframe, including the Java JVM (NetRexx was the very first "alternative language" to run on the JVM).
And the Rexx user community is vibrant and has been wrangling for some time about an accessible repository for code samples of all type, as reference, tutorials, examples, etc. This wiki will finally satisfy that need ... and increase exposure for all of the Rexx languages.
