Steward requests/CheckUser

This page is for requesting CheckUser information on a wiki with no local CheckUsers (see also requesting checkuser access). When filling a request remember;

• Provide as much information as possible;
• Provide evidence of abuse which requires CheckUser (spambots; link to deleted content);
• Check local CheckUser policies (and local CheckUsers) before filing.

A few things to remember;

• CheckUser is not for fishing, please provide evidence to back up accusations.
• The tool is not for connecting an account to IP. If you want a block on the underlying IP/range, ask.
• Stewards will not release information from a CheckUser in public. If a good reason for data release is present, a steward may provide information privately only when absolutely necessary.

• Reason(s): Spambot. Every steward here is an admin, there are no local checkusers (without admin/steward rights) so steward may/can lock and block the IPs when needed I guess. Southparkfan (talk) 12:26, 29 May 2014 (BST)
