About me
Hello there! I'm pixlDeV, a user and Volunteer of Miraheze, developer, and general wiki nerd. I first signed up for Miraheze on January 23rd of 2023 on Nyctopedia, after which I edited once in a while and what not. On the 2nd of August(23), I joined the Miraheze Discord, and in the months following, I gradually became more engaged with the community. A while after the WikiTide Merger RFC, I became actually active on Meta Wiki in discussions and helping out a bit. As of March 13th, I am a Meta:Patroller following an approved request for it on AN, and as of the 16th of April 24, I am a member of the Wiki Creator team here on Miraheze, the people who review wiki applications by users. I'm also an elected Discord Moderator and while in no way an official Software Engineer I do contribute to extensions sometimes.
My work
I serve as the main semi-active Bureaucrat for the mostly inactive Nyctopedia, a wiki about the Nyctocosm Datapack. I'm also currently working on the Conical Slicing Wiki, but that's still under construction and stalled on me getting back to making that project work. I hold the Discord Moderator position and Mediawiki Trusted Support Volunteer flavor role on the Miraheze Discord, on which I'm quite active in support and general discussions(be it technical jargon, policy, or my favorite, antics). Basically, means I'm fairly experienced in helping people out and answering user inquiries. If you have any general wiki questions, feel free to hop on the discord or IRC and ask around. I also triage new and unmarked tasks on Phabricator/Phorge just to help around, in addition to the occasional Pull Request for configuration changes requested by users, or contributing code to our extensions themselves.
I've cooked a few mostly abandoned MediaWiki API scripts in Python, they ain't good but they sometimes work, check them out at my github I guess.
