Forum:Javascript functions not working? (Possibly newb mistake)

I'm really sorry if this issue is solely due to my inexperience, which I expect it is. I haven't been able to make the Javascript functions in the MediaWiki:Common.js file of my wiki (WorkedExample) work. An alert(); in Common.js works, but none of the functions do. https://workedexample.orain.org/wiki/Template_testing to see what I mean (focus on the lines that talk about colour changing). If I copy the functions to a html file on my system, they seem to work as expected.

If someone could tell me what I've done wrong, I'd be so appreciative.
