Importer

Importers are users who are given the ability to use Special:Import to import pages.

Permissions

The permissions are usually given on local wiki to quickly import content from an old wiki.

Requesting Permissions

If needed, users should make a request to be granted importer rights at the Stewards' noticeboard. Be sure to include what wiki it is, and why you need the permission.
