This page hosts requests for permissions on the Meta.
Requests should be listed here for at least five days; bureaucrats should only close requests after this minimum time. Requests will be granted by a bureaucrat or steward (as appropriate) after a consensus of at least 80% in support with no major issues being raised.
All editors with an account here may participate in any request and give their opinion of the candidate.
See below for information on prerequisites on submitting a request, and how to add a nomination.

Notes

  • If you are requesting 'Autopatrol', 'Confirmed', or 'Rollbacker', please go to Administrators' noticeboard.
  • For CheckUser and Oversight, once successful a steward will contact the candidate and make note of contact asking for identification of the candidate being at least 18 years old due to the access to private/non public data associated with both roles. Candidates who are not over 18 or do not wish to identify, should not request access for these rights.
  • Follow the instructions provided in the section of the right you wish to apply for.
