Since I assume people would want a reason why I am specifically requesting the rights permanently as opposed to temporarily through steward access, all I can say is my extensive use of the tool over the past month. A majority of oversights on this wiki are from me either by request or users self releasing their IPs in a way not preferred. While adding oversight to the steward's permissions is an option, keeping the two rights separate is best for separation of responsibilities. If I do get access permanently, Stewards will still be able to do temp oversighting as appropriate as I clearly will not be able to cover 24 hours, then again I am the one who does most of the oversighting so that situation might not occur all that often. So, I am only requesting the right permanently as how the right is currently managed in my opinion is starting to create unnecessary right logs as well as additional work for me.
