Requests for Oversight

Instruction for making a request 

Before requesting, make sure that:

  1. You know the link of the page that needs oversighting.
  2. Oversight is a technical application of deletion, where a revision of the page is permanently deleted. Please ensure, before making a request, that Oversight is required and is in line with your local community's policy, or our global privacy policy.

When requesting oversight, stewards need to have the revision link and the reason for requesting oversight. You are not to disclose it in public. If you wish to request oversight you may contact a steward via IRC or email.
