Note: This page is reference only. The server in question is not yet part of the Orain cluster used in production. All web traffic is still served by prod4 only.
prod5 is a RamNode 1024MB SVZ in Seattle running Debian stable. Our Ansible playbook is available on GitHub. Ansible will automatically pull and run the playbook on the server every 10 minutes.
nginx
nginx is the webserver. Its main tasks include static file serving, SSL/TLS termination, gzip compression and FastCGI proxying. The nginx version is the upstream stable version, as opposed to the Debian stable version.
PHP
PHP5 worker processes are managed by php-fpm (PHP FastCGI process manager). APC does the opcode caching.
Memcached
We run a simple Memcached node.
