Orain Meta:Requests for permissions

This page hosts requests for permissions on the Meta.
Requests should be listed here for at least five days; bureaucrats should only close requests after this minimum time. Requests will be granted by a bureaucrat or steward (as appropriate) after a consensus of at least 80% in support with no major issues being raised.
All editors with an account here may participate in any request and give their opinion of the candidate.

Notes

Adminship

Before requesting admin access, please ensure you the criteria:

1. Have a user page on Meta.
2. Have a valid contact address (either a confirmed email address in preferences, or a valid email address on the user page).

Place a request on this page, by transcluding a subpage, for example {{Meta:Requests for permissions/Example (admin)}}. Bear in mind that even if you do meet the criteria above this does not mean that the community will automatically approve a request. Please add a minimum ending date, allowing a full 5 day period from the first timestamp:

Bureaucratship

Add your request below under the bureaucratship section. Please note:

1. While anyone may become a bureaucrat, being an existing active administrator on this wiki is preferred.

Other

For these types of access, create a subpage just as you would for adminship and add it to the appropriate section of this page.

• Bot: This wiki allows global bots; for other bots, add your request below under the bot section, in the same way as an admin request.
• CheckUser: Add your request below under the CheckUser section, in the same way as an admin request.
• Oversight: Add your request below under the Oversight section, in the same way as an admin request.

Note: For CheckUser and Oversight, once successful a steward will contact the candidate and make note of contact asking for identification of the candidate being at least 18 years old due to the access to private/non public data associated with both roles. Candidates who are not over 18 or do not wish to identify, should not request access for these rights.
