- At closing, consensus is at 66% which is below what I would call successful, the oppose and neutrals have the same accurate view which is 'not needed' and 'not extensively editing here' which have led me to call this unsuccessful. Any admin requests can be made on an administrators talk page and due to the lack of activity on Meta, will be answered by an administrator shortly. John (talk) 12:58, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

I intend to do a lot of help here, which I did at Wikkii before it was abandon by the sysadmins. I ran the Community Wiki there, and it was suggested that I do the community features on this wiki rather than a separate community wiki. I have been working with Arcane, who is an admin here. It was also suggested here that I request to be promoted. I can make sidebar edits or create system message scripts that can be included by other wiki admins for various purposes. - Support I'm endorse this as well. Sasha has good wiki and coding skills I believe would be an asset to Orain. GethN7 (talk) 05:41, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
- Comment I did not suggest that you be promoted to an administrative position, but rather apply to see if the community would be in favor of it. I just wanted to clear that up. Thank you, -- Joe G. (Talk) 14:33, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, well I saw that you suggested that I make the request, which seemed similar. Inquisitor Sasha (talk) 18:24, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
- Oh, I wasn't trying to be mean or anything, I just wanted to make sure everyone understood that I was not saying that I would promote you or casting any kind of vote, but rather just suggesting that you see if the community feels you'd be a good admin. That's all :) -- Joe G. (Talk) 18:33, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's alright. Inquisitor Sasha (talk) 01:38, 19 March 2014 (UTC)

- Oppose While I did suggest that you apply for the community to evaluate you for administrative responsibilities, I, as a member of the community, am going to vote against this request. I feel that you have a lot on your plate right now so to speak and you should nurture your other projects before taking any others up. I admire what you are trying to do, but meta is a very sensitive place and must be kept up nicely. Once your other projects are going well, I would invite you to reapply when you have some more significant Orain work under your belt. Thank you, -- Joe G. (Talk) 19:33, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
- If you're referring to Rational Wiki, I'm going to be handing that project off to some of my associated editors. I'm going to get needlessly angry over the circumstances that led to the fork if I work on it too directly. I do have the two gaming wikis still in request, so I guess I have those to work on. Mostly they're just going to be forked imports of the Wikia versions. At some point I'd like to become a global sysop so I can do more cross wiki help, once I'm more familiar with Orain. - Neutral: I don't know him enough to vote. — ReviComplaint? 15:06, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
- Neutral: While I think Inquisitor would probably make a good admin, they have unfortunately displayed neither an extensive editing history on Meta, especially in administrative matters like page organization, templates, etc., nor have they demonstrated a concrete need for the rights other than the possibility of editing the sidebar.
