Orain Meta talk:Privacy Policy

Only on Meta?

Since when is this Privacy Policy only for Meta? The privacy policy does contain information that is for all wikis. Southparkfan (talk) 13:59, 27 August 2014 (BST)

That would be something I think Dusti would need to answer. There is likely a very good reason it only applies on Meta and not everywhere else that I'm just not aware of, but I highly doubt Dusti would change where a policy applies without a good reason. The privacy policy is a Meta policy as Meta is the main hub for all of Orain. Ultimately, our privacy policy does, in essence, encompass all Wikis - however, local wikis are allowed to create their own privacy policy provided that those policies don't contradict any of the safeguards that Orain has put into place. It's a bit confusing as it is in the Meta namespace, but thanks for your comment ;-). But ehm.. "Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at https://orain.org." <- shouldn't that link to Terms of Use?
