Hi Jasper! I see you would like your user rights back on the IRC Wiki, unfortunately I won't give you your user rights because I believe if you get your user rights back you'll just abandon the wiki again! Agent Isai (talk) 01:31, 8 September 2014 (BST)
- @Agent Isai: I don't see an issue with Jasper regaining his rights as you'd also still have your rights. Jaspers inactivity wouldn't have any bearing on the dormancy of the wiki so long as you and the rest of the community continue to contribute. Dusti*Let's talk!* 01:33, 8 September 2014 (BST)
- @Dusti, Agent Isai: I wrote some of the content on the wiki, this is plainly not fair. I would like at least my sysop bit back.
By the way Dusti, if you stand by this action I am going to oppose your next reconfirmation, because(This never was relevant and was unnecessarily inflammatory) I deserved to be at least notified.--Jasper Deng (talk) 01:45, 8 September 2014 (BST)- Okay - let's clarify a couple of things here. Yes, you wrote some of the content on the wiki - and you're appropriately attributed. Stewards aren't going to notify users that someone else wants to adopt a wiki so you can make a few edits and then allow it to fall dormant again. That's not fair to the users who are interested in maintaining the wiki.
Further, blackmail isn't appropriate and I don't appreciate the threat.I'm looking at the best interests of the entire project - not just a wiki. We are evaluating the adoption process and will strive to ensure that it's a fair process - but don't try to strong arm me because you left a project dormant. Further, there isn't going to be another reconfirmation - but your objection is notated. If you view the Dormant wikis page, you'll find the dormancy policy and you're more than welcome to voice your concerns when we bring forth the new proposals. I would also like to note that I've reached out to this user in a few areas trying to get your rights back. You're welcome. Dusti*Let's talk!* 01:51, 8 September 2014 (BST) - @Jasper Deng:, you are MORE than welcome to edit your wiki! And maybe you'll get your rights back! So plz don't complain, thank you Agent Isai (talk) 02:03, 8 September 2014 (BST)
- @Agent Isai: I don't think I'm getting credited for the initial work I put into it. I'm busy in real life but I would not want my access removed if I had made a significant contribution to the wiki.--Jasper Deng (talk) 02:06, 8 September 2014 (BST)

@Jasper Deng: I will give you Administrator rights, and if you prove you are worthy of regaining your Bureaucrat rights I will give you ALL your rights back Agent Isai (talk) 02:11, 8 September 2014 (BST)
The wiki now only has me to take care of it. Can I regain ownership?--Jasper Deng (talk) 02:59, 8 January 2015 (GMT)
