This page is for incidents and matters that need administrators' attention.
Here you can:
  • Ask an admin to block a user who is disruptive or is doing blatant vandalism/spamming.
  • Request user rights that can be assigned with the discretion of admins. (see User groups)
  • Other things that need admins' attention.

Wiki creator

I've come back because Arcane says that the sysadmins are active again, and so I am willing to continue helping. I would like to be a wiki creator so that I can decrease the latency with wiki creation. With enough trusted creators, we could possibly cut latency down to only an hour. The playbook I could edit because I have experience using GitHub.
I haven't been using IRC, but I could use it if that is useful for discussing things here. It would be no problem.

No phone numbers as we are just three people spread around and personal phones numbers are you know, iffy :). If you could be on IRC at times; it would be extremely helpful. I suppose I'll agree with SPF and Revi right. If you could become a bit more active and participate in any requests we might have, I see no reason not to grant you the rights shortly. I could open up IRC when at the computer, if that would be helpful.
You can set up a phone number by opening an Orain Google account and setting a Google Voice number and adding sysadmin phone numbers to that. I think it will let you select times when messages or calls can be passed to specific numbers. I've heard that it's useful as a public number because of that. Create MediaWiki:Lang and subpages

As on multilingual Wikimedia wikis (Commons, Meta, etc.), please create MediaWiki:Lang and language subpages with their language codes. For example, MediaWiki:Lang = en, MediaWiki:Lang/es = es, MediaWiki:Lang/fr = fr, etc. The ability to use {{int:lang}} to retrieve the current language would be invaluable for translation. DB List edit / also request for autopatrol

Request features#Squaredanceideas (Status: Open) is partially done but the database list needs to be edited I believe.

Also I'd like to request the autopatrolled flag. I've created the pages Oversight and Checkuser and regularly make tiny edits to various pages or leave messages on peoples talk pages. I don't think there's really a need for anyone to ever patrol my edits.

I've handled the first request as the newest wiki creator. I'd still like autopatrolled as I'm a wiki creator and I still edit various pages. I don't like red exclamation points ;(

Delete unused files on Meta?

There's a lot of unused and out-of-scope files here on Meta (see Special:ListFiles and especially Special:UnusedFiles). Should they be deleted? Wynter (talk) 02:47, 26 June 2015 (BST)

Indeed, some of the files here on Meta are used as the logos on wikis[1] (which in my opinion is bad practice). I suggest that these files be kept temporarily and moved to their respective wikis at some point. Wynter (talk) 16:37, 26 June 2015 (BST)

(reset indent) I've deleted all unused files,[2] except ones that 1) are used as logos on certain wikis (see User:Wynter/Meta files used as logos) and can't be moved or 2) pertain directly to Orain Meta or Meta-related issues (such as screenshots of wiki problems, etc.).
