Copyright Issues

First of all, sorry that your legitimate edit was blocked by our abuse filter. I've changed your user rights so you can add links to meta pages.

Secondly, I'm attempting to deal with the problem you tried to report on Tech:Noticeboard (staff could still see the edit if they looked for it)

• Ive left a note on the offending user's talk page and the wiki owners talk page.
• If there is no response in a reasonable amount of time, staff will remove offending content and/or block the user.

Copyright issues should probably be posted to the Stewards' noticeboard or directly emailed to us instead of being placed on our technical noticeboard. In the future, if you have any issues reporting things like this (or using the wiki at all) feel free to send an email to staff (at) Orain.org

Somewhat related question

Speaking as a user, not as the staffer I was above, may I ask why you (and others) are sticking with Wikia? If you decide to move we can import pages for you easier than copy-pasting like this other user. Looking at the current Bad Piggies Orain wikia..

Just a quick update on my side.

"If supplied, you must provide the name of the creator and attribution parties, a copyright notice, a license notice, a disclaimer notice, and a link to the material. CC licenses prior to Version 4.0 also require you to provide the title of the material if supplied, and may have other slight differences." From https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/

Also "You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work)" Right now I would prefer more then a simple one liner as more then 80% of there pages are direct copies. However, I am not a major holder in the rights considering I have not been very active. I will talk to some of our more regular editors and if there is a overwhelming majority for what they believe we should do I will update you on this. I will also send this to the founder of the bad piggies wikia over there.

@chia try to keep me updated :) I'm just waiting for an on-Orain (or emailed) response from either of the two of them.
