Cannot register new user

Some user reported that they are unable to register. I've tried to add user using admin pages and verified there is an error message "Unknown database 'ceidwiki' (10.131.209.107)". It has been verified by 4 users both in the UK, China and the US either from bus.orain.org or meta.orain.org. Could you please check that database server. I believe the issue lies with the fact that the wiki is listed in the Database list as 'ceidwiki' while the wiki was created using database 'ceidwikiwiki'. I think someone needs to change the Database list to either be 'ceidwikiwiki' or rename the actual database to 'ceidwiki'. Here is the log entry for reference: 09:58 . . Permissions on bibbia2000.orain.org

• Hi, I asked for the default language to be changed from English to Italian, and it was done. The weird thing is that now I cannot login directly, but must login to orain meta first, and navigate through settings and unified login. The main page (that I created as "Pagina principale") tells me that I do not have sufficient permissions to read it, which is not true, because I am an administrator. I understand and appreciate you have been very busy with unexpected changes in the team. Thanks for your hard work and determination (especially Dusti) in keeping everything going. I wondered whether there was any progress on finding the root cause of this issue. You solved it by changing to wiki from private to public. Now I would like to find a way to restrict page editing at least to autoconfirmed users. I tried checking the checkbox to recursively apply permissions on subpages of the main page, but it cannot be checked, even after "unlock further permissions" is checked.--Simonpa71 (talk) 07:52, 4 February 2015 (GMT)

Hi there! I can't help you with this issue directly, but I would like to pose a question to our sysadmins (@Kudu, @Addshore): Do we still have Special:UserLogin or whatever special page(s) process logins whitelisted globally? I remember this was an issue with private wikis and users could not login directly to the wiki - whitelisting those pages fixed it. Login namuh.orain.org

Many many redirects and an issue on this page

Hello! In an attempt to help Orain in any ways possible, I just fixed 2 double redirects, but I thought that someone might want to look at the entire meta layout instead of me doing this, as I'm not sure what's desired. Several noticeboards were apparently moved around and now SRP redirected to Steward requests/Permissions, so I fixed the double redirect, but now at the top of this page, If you want to request permissions, please visit the [[Steward requests]] page. links to a page that redirects back to this page. Hi @NDKilla:! Thanks for the message. Yesterday I moved lots of pages around and merged many noticeboards / places for things to be requested into single noticeboards (to try and make meta a bit more usable). The Stewards, GS and Tech staff can be far more proactive if there are less places to look! It looks like you have been cleaning up after some of my changes! Suppression request

I think it's safe to post here because I think only admins can see it anyways, but just incase I'm not posting a direct link. Can a steward go to the abuse log @ Iron Perfection and remove the two entries in the abuse log that have my IP address?
The whole "blank page" on certain pages/actions is really annoying >< even tho the page doesn't load, and the action isn't performed, it still logs my IP. Also, on Google Chrome I keep getting logged out every few minutes... NDKilla (talk) 16:50, 4 April 2015 (BST)

Global/local account on private wikis

While editing my preferences on BGO Wiki I began looking into my global account info I then noticed that I had an account on Awesomeness wiki but it's set to private so I can't even view my own page. If my user page there actually exists, could it be deleted, and is there any way to delete my user account there as it serves no purpose?

Also in a minor note, on the wiki creation page it says the url for BGO wiki is bgowiki.orain.org but it's just bgo.orain.org. Cheers, NDKilla (talk) 18:01, 30 April 2015 (BST)

Suppression request (and still broken pages)

I made an abuse filter on http://bgo.orain.org that asks anonymous users to register (but shouldn't prevent the editing).
Can someone suppress my school's IP from the abuse log on bgo.wiki (rmv direct link since Special:AbuseLog is apparently public. Also whenever I trip an abuse filter, the page fails to load. NDKilla (talk) 17:20, 5 May 2015 (BST)
